Throughout your training, we work together to reach your goals while also keeping track of your body composition and fitness measurements. These data points allow us to perform periodic fitness assessments to measure how far we have come, how far we need to go, and if we need to make any modifications to help you better reach your target.
During training sessions, we will be keeping an eye on how you move. We’re looking for muscular imbalances, proper form, and good posture. Improper form can cause issues within your body and put you at risk for injury, and it’s our job to help you avoid that.
Each individual plan combines movement and education, so that you have a complete understanding of why we incorporate certain activities into your training. For many of our athletes, we are going to focus on two major categories, strength/conditioning and agility. Strength/Conditioning is designed specifically to improve performance in athletes, and focuses on building skills across the board, in areas such as mind, mobility, stability, strength, endurance, speed, and performance. This form of coaching improves your athletic performance while also reducing the risk of injury. Agility training is focused on the ability to move your feet and overall body quickly, providing a stronger lower body and increased coordination.
During your overall program, we’ll focus on specific goals, such as:
- Understanding the benefits of strength training and cardiovascular training
- How to move correctly and avoid injury
- What pieces of equipment benefit your workout
- How your nutrition affects your training
- Taking your training and performance to the next level
As we move through your training, we will continuously reassess and modify the training modalities to promote continued all-around performance.
